For the last three years, one of the leading domestic corporations has been operating and developing in Sarajevo, which includes companies from different branches and with different business activities, and more than 1,600 employees.
The headquarters of the corporation is in Sarajevo, production plants in numerous cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and branch offices in Croatia, Slovenia and Germany.
It is Aptha Corp. which consists of 25 companies that are divided into the division of production and non-production, smaller service companies, and offer furniture production, development, logistics, distribution, franchising, and investment services.
Several business divisions
The key customer is the global giant “IKEA”, and they have equipped numerous facilities and restaurants in Switzerland, Paris, Lithuania, which are decorated with furniture from “Aptha”. They are present in the countries of Western Europe, the United States (U.S.) and Asia.
Pedja Sarajlic, president of Aptha Corp. d.o.o. clarified that the group operates in several divisions.
“The first is, of course, the production company whose base is furniture production primarily in Fojnica, while the second unit is Aptha furniture, luxury furniture for foreign clients,” says Sarajlic.
Aptha Furniture, in addition to the production segment of business and sales, is focused on the development of the product range of the GoEs brand. The GoEs brand consists of high-end, luxury pieces of furniture that are exported to various foreign markets (80% to European countries).
“We are most proud of the development of our own brand GoEs. It is luxury furniture that is exported from the U.S. to Japan. We are very proud of its development, but also of the technological solutions we use,” he points out.
The second division of the group is service, in which they are HP’s golden partner for the entire region with printing solutions, while in the third division they are the owners of the KFC franchise for BiH.
And that’s not all. That they are directed towards constant growth and development is also confirmed by the information that these days they bought another company, Stupcanica in bankruptcy, Akta writes.
