The European Union has today called on Kosovo and Serbia to implement all the agreements reached in the dialogue that the bloc has mediated between them since 2011. Among other things, the EU has said that the establishment of the Association is among the most urgent issues.
On the 11th anniversary of the agreement, the EU spokesperson, Peter Stano, declared that Kosovo will face consequences if it does not implement it.
"All the agreements reached in the dialogue facilitated [by the EU] are valid documents and obligations of the parties. They must be implemented. And we are repeating this to the parties.
If the parties do not fulfill their obligations, then there will be serious consequences. And the only ones who will feel these consequences will be the people they claim to be protecting. The only ones, therefore, who will pay the price for not implementing the obligations in the dialogue, will be the citizens of Kosovo and Serbia" - said Stano.
